This coldness in your eyes
It haunts me day and night
     Pursed lips and harsh stares
Silence, as bitter as a curse

This coldness in your eyes
Is enough for me to realize
That pain is what I gained
My prize in your fav game

This coldness in your eyes
Makes my heart rip in sighs
See, what I’ve got in your love
Murk within and darkness above

    Pain and heartbreak is wonderfully conveyed...
    It re-emphasises that love carries pain with it... Like how rose carries thorns!

    Cold behavior is the worst form of punishing someone. I can handle anything but coldness for me in somebody's eyes.

    Some powerful and intense emotions at work here. Heart-break does seem to open all doors to let such coldness in. Either we shut all the doors and windows or we let the fire within burn high and bright. Beautifully penned. :)
