This is for Haiku Horizons and this week's prompt is 'open'
I open old diary
Choked
on tears, I still smile
Kissing
that dried rose
From clay cage I flew
To
open gates above
‘Missed
you kid!’ He cried!
(Each haiku has 17 syllables arranged in 5-7-5 pattern)
It is simply beautiful to see your space here and beautiful haiku.. the second one took my breath away.. a fantastic thought and visual too..
